I was glad Johnson did not win. I still think Kurt would be easy to fire up during an interview and explode.

oh yea. i think if the feud between him and kesalowski happened towards the end of the race there would've been a nice explosion from him

Haven't posted here in a while, been busy. Really good racing at Martinsville. I'm a 48 fan as y'all know. Hate he didn't win it, but it was a great fight for the win. Never thought I'd say this, but I am glad to see Kurt get a win. Used to not like him, but he has redeemed himself. He could've made a snide remark about beating his rival Jimmie, but he complimented him instead. Props to him.

On another note, Kurt's raced win version of his car in the 1:24 scale should be pretty sweet to own, thanks to Brad K. I'll definitely be ordering that one.

So anyone else have tickets, or plan to buy tickets, the the spring race at Talladega? I'll be there at the start/finish line, 15 rows or so up.

Not his year. I have been to a couple of races there quite a few years ago. Saw Dale win one and Jeff win the other. This was back when they had the iroc races too.

The brother of six-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson's wife Chandra was killed in a skydiving accident Sunday afternoon in California.
Jordan Janway, 27, had over 1,000 jumps of skydiving experience and was training other employees at Skydive San Diego when the accident occurred. The owner of the company said he believed Janway collided with the person he was jumping with.

Y'all see the post race interview Kurt did with ESPN? Even when they anchor tried to get him worked up about BK, he didn't waver. Glad to see this new Kurt and how he's worked his way back up to the top from rock bottom after being fired from Penske.

Kurt could very well be a smoldering ember. But I think with his GF and her son, espcially the boy, kinda watching him and standing by him he has a lot more to lose than before. I like to give benefit of the doubt, and it's no difference in this case. I want to say he is going to stay pretty level headed. I mean yeah he is going to retaliate on BK, and rightfully should. But the old Kurt should be gone i think.

I know what ya mean. Kurt is one of the most talented drivers out on the track. The guy can flat out drive. That's saying a lot coming from a JJ fan :D! But his mouth and actions on the track has made me not care for him. He's seemed to redeem himself though.

His prick brother on the other hand, can't stand the air that man breaths. Goes down to Nationwide and hands it to the lesser competition then celebrates and takes the money like he won the 500. After what he did to Hornaday in the truck series a few years ago, he cemented his rep for me.

Sucks for Dale Jr. That is going to hurt his points. At least it is early in the season. He can recover.

I can't watch the race I'm at work. what happened to Jr and Jimmie?

And what's it matter for Jr, he doesn't have to win another race. He's already in the chase. And this new format puts emphasis on "winning"

Jr ran into the grass a little in the first dog leg and collapsed the front of his car and threw a bunch of debris into JJ's car, then harvick blew an engine, the JJ blew a RR tire. Craziness right now.

jr car caught on fire against the wall took a hard hit.

Oh and a bunch of cars got their hood effed by jet dryers before the green.

    What he said^^^^ lol.

I don't see why they didn't just get the track dry first. With the new driers it doesn't take that long. I haven't been watching unfortunately. I am having to listen to it on PRN radio.
