Thanks your truck is pretty sweet to,,, I wanted to do the 4x4 conversion with manual hubs but got all the 4x4 stuff with add for pretty cheap just need a transfer case and some money lol

 

Subd awesome truck!!! How do you like that winch?

 

It's pretty sweet tested it out on a tundra and pulled it just fine just have to mount the control box to the side of the bumper without using zip ties cause it doesn't fit on top of the winch cause of the grill and my pro comp lights lol,,,

 

Oh I gotya do you have any pics of it on the mounting plate I have the same bumper and I'm wanting the same winch

 

Yea I'll post some pics tomorrow in the day time,,, but the winch it self fits perfect there is 4 bolts that comes with the winch and the holes that were made in the bumper align just right,,,, I just removed my grill to install it it didn't remove the bumper it's much easier to just remove the grill

Subbing. What kind of travel do you have in the rear with the fox's? Saw you have the u-bolt flip with the brackets relocated to essentially where they came off the old plate correct?

 

Have always dug those stepsides........very cool rig.

 

Yea the top of the shox are mounted in the stock location but tabs were welded to the axle for the bottom of the shox in pretty much the same spot as before I'm gonna relocate the top of the shox and have a cross member between the frame and mount the shox to that cross member and have the tabs welded on the axle so they are sitting parallel,,, not sure how much travel I'm getting never measure it lol but it articulates pretty good I know a lot of 1st gen that run these springs they provide a lot of travel

 

Went to ocotillo wells this weekend with other members in Tw had a good time

 

Love the fender trim. great build!

 

Just ordered this bad boy should arrive by next week trail gear rock defense bumper,, and gonna go hunting for a transfer case and hopefully get the conversion done before the end of May

 

I hope that TG rear bumper fits, I had to get mine custom made. looking foreword to the pics!

 

Did you use the trail gear bumper and customized it or did you completely customize your own bumper ?

Mine was built from scratch, but I'm sure yours will work. the only problem that i ran into is that the tailgate is narrower so it affects fitment of the center part of the bumper.
