So today, I changed my oil with 5w 20 mobil 1 extended performance and while I was changing the filter, some liquid came down on to my face and got in eyes. Not sure what it was. Seemed like water to me. Anyone know what could have leaked from truck on the passenger side behind the front tire while I was changing my filter?

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Likely water, it's all part of working under a vehicle. I constantly get dirt falling in my eyes. Helps to wear safety glasses, but that usually doesn't come to mind right off the bat.

If you got oil in your eyes, you'd know right away.

Ok, I was worried it was some kind of chemical that seems like water. Do you know if the condensation from the ac has any type of contaminants in it that's harmful?

Only the crap that collects on the evaporator fins and washes down into the bottom of the plenum.

Nothing remotely toxic, just unpleasant. If it were more than water, it would not be allowed to vent overboard.

+1 on the glasses. I always wear them under cars... lots of falling particles/dust from looking up at what you are touching.
