Went up forrest service road 9020 and then to the fireman's academy and found a few roads off of there in the Snoqualmie Forest this weekend. The one picture not of my truck is an elk that we found on a powerline road by the academy. Hard to see it but only had a few seconds to whip out the phone :D

Awesome video! We spend a lot of time in that area of Colorado. My in-laws have a cabin in the Blue Mesa area in-between Gunnison and Lake City. We always take a day and Jeep over to Silverton on Cinnamon/Engineer Pass...Can't wait to get the Taco out there!

    Thanks!

Blue Mesa Lake was frozen solid when we went by

Before my daughter was born we used to go out there twice a year. Once in the summer then again in the fall when the Aspens were changing. Now we usually just go out during Spring Break. I've been over every trail in the "Alpine Loop" and that is my favorite place in the world. 8 more years and I'll be living out there.

Did a guided fishing tour on Blue Mesa a couple years ago...Recommend any good trails outside of Cinnamon and Engineer? I've been on a few others here and there on a 4 wheeler/Gator...Looking for some good half day trail rides in the Lake City area I can take the Taco on.

I recommend Imogene Pass from Ouray to Telluride but it won't open up until the end of June most likely.

These pictures were taken on the Camp Bird Mine portion of the trail outside of Ouray last week
