I hear ya man! The ranger offices are a great place to get more info about current trail conditions. The locals are more than willing to help and we will usually steer you in the right direction when we hear about your plans. Use the trailhead coordinates from trail damage then put those into google maps or other mapping application to get a better idea of where the trail is located. Noobs always have some research and learning to do, but we were all there at some point! No worries!

sounds good... I'll do what I can, but I don't have a whole lot of free time to call up rangers and what not except on weekends LOL

no excuses, I'll get something in the works for this weekend or next if it's too short notice for some.

I totally understand. I am in the same boat until summer starts. Like I said, get some ideas together and the group can help work out the details.

I was wanting to go as well. I tried Yankee Hill just before xmas and couldn't make it very far (still had the sucky stock rugged fails on then). My guess is still a lot of snow but I'd be willing to try if anyone else wants to.

Well I definitely don't want any of your slutty pics on my screen!

This is a tough time of year. The weather is nice but there is still a ton of snow. usually I have to get out my motorcycle to get some excitement and pass a few more weeks by until the trails open up. I just hope the stuff up north here opens at all after that flood. If it doesn't, I don't know what I will do.

Usually sevenmile is my go-to for this time of year. I will look around and see what I can come up with. I assume you will be doing the same ;)

If I could take out the 50% of my job that is related to politics and if parents would do their parental job of teaching respect, my job would be the greatest out there.
