Yeah I'd say unless it's a real good deal don't bother.... Then again if it's a real good deal there's probably something wrong with it

 

I bought my tacoma at the Washington auto mall. Who was/is your salesman?

 

Well, well....I got another email from the salesman there..he sent me some pics saying they overlooked. The truck I was looking at has right front fender damage!!! Don't you think I would have liked to know that up front??

I think his conscious got the best of him, seeing as I was "potentially" going to be driving up from Richmond.

Glad I didn't get it. You guys were right. Shady.

 

LOL. Just happened to overlook front fender damage. Although if the truck is in otherwise good shape might not be a bad deal. But not sure worth the time to get there to make sure.

 

was thinking of making a drive to near the Philly area but I have a 1st gen

I actually thought about buying those lol. But I do have a set already and am currently looking for a Tundra/Sequoia Limited 17' set in decent shape (so hard to find, hence the Philly drive thought))

 

I don't remember who I was dealing with, but I remember they showed me carfax for the wrong car. When they got the real one it was involved in 5 accidents and had 7 different owners and it was only 5 years old at the time. After that I won't go back. It could have been an accident, but I just got a bad feeling after that.

So glad I'm not anymore.

I used to have bad road rage, but now I'm calm as a cucumber since I'm not driving all the time.

I do miss running into you and John for the occasional lunch though

 

No more daily bridge toll either...

 

Funny thing is I now drive 11 miles of back roads that are 25mph and have a light on every corner.

Before I was driving 15 miles of crappy highways.

Time spent commuting = the same

Only big time savings is in summer I now avoid the 2hr Friday commute home due to shore traffic.

 

Gotta like that.

I was surprised how quickly we got down to LBI on Sunday via 72 - less than 1 1/2 hours...

Saw a post a while back, someone was looking for OEM 16 inch Tacoma rims.. Have a friend in VA (may be coming this way next week Apr 13?) He has a stock set of 02 5star alloy rims 16x8 in decent shape. (sending me pics via email) with lug nuts (full set of 24) and center caps. He is asking $350 for the complete set. And, if interested has two factory steel Tacoma 16x8 rims that he would sell for $25 as a pair. Let me know, I'll try to post the pics up he is emailing. And, if you are interested, can have him bring them up with him. He also has a lot of 89-95 parts too Air boxes, door handles,mrrors ac face w/o clock etc.. Ask what you need and I'll relay the mssg. I drive 5.5 miles to work and it takes me 25-35 minutes... I have 13 lights, 1 tunnel, and 1 bridge from my door until I hit the garage at work

The 01-04 lower valance lights, are they the turn signals from the front lower? Are they the Toyota ones in good shape? Let me know

 

Anybody know where I can get a cheap pop up trailer?
