    Was looking at getting some new rubber for my 3" lift trd offroad. I would like to go 285/75/16. I was looking at Nitto website and it said that the wheel width had to be 7.5 or 8.0. I got 1.25 spidetrax on there now. Will these not fit my stock 16x7 trd off road alloys. And if they would fit would I have to trim?

    Not sure if they will fit your wheel, but you would have trimming to do.

    Would it be minor trimming. And if I did not want that size what would be next size you would go with that would look good.

    A 265/75/16 (32" tall) would fit the OEM wheel with no rubbing issues. The amount of trimming required for the 33's seems to vary vehicle to vehicle.

    So they are only off by about an 1" or so 265/75/16 to 285/75/16

    Sorry for all the dumb questions I am trying too get a better understanding on tire sizes for my truck with no issues. Would the 285/75/16 rub on the uca or is that what the spidertrax are for.

    Do the 265/75/16 look good on a 3" lift if you seen any. They don't look small do they.
