    okay that makes sence.

well i think the reason why the bushings look like that is because when i flex out and the shackles rub against the frame its pushing the top of the shackle out? or am i wrong with that thinking?

i didnt think my bushings were bad, i thought it was something else.
i was assuming if i tightened the bolts it would suck the bushings back in.

    yes grade 8!

Maybe use delrin bushings to help with the deflection. Mine did the same with poly and once I switched bushings it stopped.

Also your crush sleeve may be to long, you want the bushing flange flush against the leaf spring and the shackle with a slight compression.

okay ill have to do that.

okay ill check that as well.
when it was first installed, the bushings didnt look like this. it only happened over time.

do any of your guys shackles rub on the frame when at full bump/full droop?

i feel like that is causing premature ware on the bushings.
it is also grinding down my shackle making it thinner and thinner. kinda a scary thought. lol

Do they have crush sleeves? Are you bottoming out on the shank of the bolt? I'm guessing the bushings are poly I would swap in new ones on the leaf pack and run delrin on the shackle mount.

I know they work on Deaver & 50T springs with a 1.5" opening. As long as your sleeve is 1" OD should work no problem. :D
