I should be able to make it there. I don't have anything to do to my truck besides the post-winter go-over. If anyone needs me to bring any tools please let me know.

A bunch of cruiser and mini-truck enthusiasts helped start the Capital Land Cruiser Club and swap meets back in the 1990's when the 4x4 Connection (now part of IPOR) was in Sterling.

If you didn't know, the Cruiser Club is holding a big swap meet at it's facility (7 Rodney Lane in Fredericksburg) on April 12 from 9:30 to 5. Along with the typical swap meet activities and interesting vendors, there are lots of demonstrations and mini-seminars on everything from recovery techniques to 4x4 Ham radio selection and use.

Even though I still own two Land Cruisers, I'll probably be there in my Tacoma. Let me know if you other NOVA TW folks will be there and I'll look out for you.

I may be able to make it out to the mod day if the in-laws can watch the kids for a while Matt. I don't think I'll have anything to do on the truck as I am hoping to get my rear shocks installed this weekend. I wouldn't mind doing the foglight anytime and 2wd low mods if anyone wants to help with that. I'm not that great with wiring and would need to pick up whatever will be needed to do it. I can bring tools as well and since we don't live that far apart if anything is forgotten and I have it I could run back to the house and pick it up.

Also, might want to consider removing your address and PM it to people that are confirmed coming since anyone can see it on here.

Drop me on there. I don't need anything done right now, but I can help out with whatever.

Edit: Didn't skygear need breathers done? I can bring all that stuff out there too.

Yes. I need the ALL breathers mod. If someone could order the parts for me also, I will pay them cash. Frogsauce, got a parts list?

Also need a CB antenna tuned.

    Wire up my air compressors.

Trim my fenders. Beat the hell out of them.

Updated post…0900 good start time for everyone? Doesn't need to be on the money, but I think we could get some of the "softer" mods done while some people are still sleeping in the neighborhood, then start banging on suspension and everything a little later in the day.

Matt. Take a 14mm socket and some PB blaster. Loosen up all the bolts for the skids under the truck.

I can bring my pressure washer if anyone wants. that way they can spray down the trucks and undercarriage.

I bought all nice new grade 8 stuff for the trans and T-case skid...the bolts holding the IFS right now should not be stuck...I'll try and loosen them up soon and see though.

Just better to check and make sure. I fixed one that I knew was broken. Then there was another one I saw under there that was snapped off that I had no clue about. That was the dooing of someone else.

trip[ the hardware store yielded me a tap and die set. Grabbed some better bolts and secured the plates.

Thinking foreword. I forsee many hours of work ahead of us. Food accomodations should be considered. Cookout? Beverages? Since this in not my house. I cant walk in and whip up a meal ;)

Considering bringing the wife and kids. Not sure yet/ Could get all the spouses/ GF's/ whateverz involved to keep the men fed and full of energy.
