People can guess all they want over the internet. The issue is, where did the water go? Likely fried the ecm. Did he pull the mass air flow sensor to make sure its not covered in crap? Sounds to me like its not getting crank signal which I'd why the plugs aren't firing. I think he needs to winch it out, dry everything, and get down to the basics. I will post this in his thread too.

 

cool, thanks for takin a look man, he just forgot to add to the OP that we did end up hand winching it (and some pulling assisntance) out with 2 come alongs and 2 other trucks to help

So I think I found my next purchase. I would love to buy a "Pull-pal" but they run about $350 give or take. This one shipped will be $140. This would have gotten me out of that hole yesterday.

 

You of all people need this.

But you can also just carry empty sand bags with you and when you get stuck you fill them up and burry them with a strap wrapped around them.

 

If you don't get this, your spare tire will do the same in a bind. Just a lot more work digging a hole.

 

I think with that location, having this would have gotten me out in 1/2 the time. I will likely try to order one fairly soon and find a spot to keep it in the truck from then on.

 

how long ago did you put ur body lift in? any problems with install or since?

i assume you're talkin bout me, yea bigger tires and more aggressive tread would look tons better

 

Shit you could just get like a 2'x2' plate with a 2' tall bar coming off the top of it and it would do the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

 

So after my recent water expedition, my headlights have
moisture and them for the first time. Not sure if its a leak, or just water got in one of the drain vents possibly.

 

given the water hole you went through the other day I would give it a few days and see if you have the same problem.

if you have a leak it will show every morning with water in the headlight. that what was happening to mine a while back. especially here in florida with our 95% humidity most of the times.

 

Yeah, that's what i figured too. I was thinking about taking the headlight bulbs out today and letting the moisture vent out that way. Not sure if i will or not though.

 

Stick an air duster in there.

 

it wouldn't hurt to try it. either way being parked in the sun will do the trick.
