Okay! Finally had time to take a picture! Overall this lift was really not that bad to install myself took about 8 hours with the help of a friend. There were just a lot of parts to be added and some needing a little adjusting. So far I am really happy with it, rides just like it did before if not a little better. I feel like I might have a small drive line shudder around 15mph but I had that with my last leveling kit as well.

One question? How are you guys reinstalling the skid plate?

Looks good. You sure your running a 295/75r18 because toyo only shows making a 285/75r18 or 295/70r18.

Need to modify your skid to fit or run an aftermarket skid. Ask Solus how he did his. If I remember right he modified his to fit.

Sorry my mistake, You're right they are 295/70r18 which I believe is just over 34" tall and right about 11.5" wide

I almost tried that size on mine. 34" is a nice size tire.

A BFH will make the stock skid fit… the TRD will not fit without cutting it up

Looks good man… the shutters are normal, its a driveline shutter. You'll need shims, a carrier bearing drop (streettacos.com) or one piece drive shaft. I've had the vibrations the entire time I'm had the RCD. I have a carrier bearing drop but haven't installed it

I agree man… the 2008 is starting to feel dated, I do like the availability of the mechanical LSD in my year which I don't have though installed either

It actually had a carrier bearing drop included in the kit, it is by no means bad... just slightly noticeable and not worth all the extra trouble. Also, if I remember correctly the rear 4" block were directional or side specific with a taper toward the front. Don't know if this is new since your kit or not.

So BFG = big f'n hammer? lol maybe I should go read the pm first!

I pretty sure mine didn't come with the carrier bearing drop…, street tacos has some big carrier bearing drops, and one or two guys did this to get rid of the vibes

Saturday is the big day for my install. I'm like a kid waiting for X-mas morning lol.
I thought I would be smart and have all new bushings and cam bolts for the LCA on hand just in case I should need them. I bought the Moog cam bolts with grease fittings. Then I went to the dealer for the 4 bushings and got a major sticker shock....$265.00!!! wtf lol. and that was with a 10% discount.
Also bought new seals for the spindle. Just didn't want to get stuck on a Sat. and not be able to get parts.

Any rate wish me luck, I'll post up some pics when she is all done.

    Nice job on the lift.

I had to chop quite a bit off the TRD skid plate to make it fit.
Also, one mounting tab that is under the truck (bottom of skid on drivers side) is not screwed in. Just resting on the RCD Cross member.
It took a few hours with an angle grinder to get it right.

Also the stock skid will not fit with the TRD skid anymore if you had any intentions on doing that.

I'm in, woot. Really happy how it looks, way taller then what it looks like in pictures.
Finished up the install today. I got to say I was pretty impressed with the quality and fitment of all the RCD parts. Only prob was one of the front shocks didnt have it's dust cover. Other than that the only major pain was the LCA bushing. Both fronts were seized and had to be cut. The bushings them self were a pain to get out, but we managed. Glad I bought all new ones just in case we hit that snag.

I only have one minor problem at the moment with the sway bar hitting/touching on the drivers side. You can hear it on every bump.
I'll look into it more tomorrow, I'm pretty beat after a full day, lol.

    What a difference! Looks good!

What orientation did you end up mounting the compression struts?
