I was maybe the last person to place an order and even so; I have been waiting almost six weeks. I didn't check to see how long the open-enrollment period was - but clearly the first person aboard has been waiting that much longer than me! <g>

It makes me laugh that I wanted the HID lights installed on my Tacoma before I drove it down to Florida - and since I placed the order I have been down there and back. Twice! <g>

BTW: A Big Thanks! to whoever here told me how to adjust my headlights - just doing that made a big improvement in my truck's night vision.

Jordan: Your truck has been in a shop for Three Months??? I guess that's OK for someone with all your money and spare vehicles - but for someone like me who drives his single truck every day just to get around - I can't imagine not Screaming about getting it back. <g>

I always say that there are Three Unavoidables in life: Death, Taxes, and Waiting. And this episode right here is living proof of at least one third of my wisdom. <g>

Hell; even the little woman said the other day: You better be able to see to the Moon with these new lights after all this! <g>

Hello everyone, While we wait patiently, for our kits to arrive. I have a question to anyone who can help me with an answer. I have already purchased my head light HID kit form Slimcubby and now I'm awaiting my fog light HID kit. I have a 13' which I purchased back in November of last year. I was wondering if by me installing the HID kit, what affects it will have on my manufacture warranty, if any.

I know I probably should of thought of this before buying the first kit...lol

    Thanks!

How do you like the headlights? Do you like their performance? Is there a noticeable increase in visibility? These will be my first HID's.

anything new yet? these guys suck at inspecting.......like really bad.....can you file anything against them for loss of bussiness or defemation of reputation or anything like that? Just seems rediculous to me that they get away with doing this shit. This is why people are getting fed up with anything that has to deal with any form of government procedure. It takes forever for the most simple of tasks.

I would love to file some sort of complaint but when I asked the DHL agent she kinda laughed at me and said "file against the government?" I will update again soon sorry for the delay in an update I still check every day tho.

yeah but even if its the govt they should pay for it all. It's not like they can't afford it, I mean shit we throw money at countries for dumber shit everyday instead of taking care of our own problems and paying for our own shit. I have lost all faith in this shitty joke of a govt we have. It's like dying inside a little at a time, and nothing ever gets done about it.

I have not installed them yet. I really wanted to have both the headlights and fog lights installed together. I will install them this week and I will post some pictures for (all) you to see. I read a lot of good feedback on these kit from my first purchase, so I will assume that I will love the performance on them. The visibility does increase and in my opinion it provides a greater cleaner view overall.

Might I suggest you contact your congressman's office..explain the situation is completely unacceptable...hopefully someone on his staff will make a call over there and get things moving.

My neighbor complained about our post office being short staffed and a call to our congressman quickly changed things.

I am still waiting on my order.

Gather the names/numbers of people you have spoke with at US Customs. Contact your congress person. No matter who you vote for, introduce yourself as " Hi, I am Mr. Slim Cubby, and I am a continued supporter of Congressman XXXX, I am having a small problem with US customs over a routine overseas purchase, who on Mr. Congressmans staff can I speak with about this". Continue with......
"I am a tax paying US Citizen who voted for Mr X ,I am also a small business owner trying to contribute to the US Economy. I make routine purchases from overseas for car light bulbs, have never had a problem with US Customs routine purchases, until recently. I have contact US customs, X Number of times and I am repeated told, the light bulbs are being inspected. Can you please contact someone in authority at my local US Customs office and determine exactly what the problem is? Why has the inspection taken over 2 months for the same items I have purchased dozens of times over recent years? And if they can not provide a reasonable answer, I ask that you demand my products be released immediately.

Thank you - your continued supporter
    Mr. Slimcubby.

They have a whole staff of people that take calls/emails over issues like this everyday.
