One advantage that I dicovered is that when the window is cracked oped, the door is easier to close. No back pressure. The Weatherteck vent visors give the cleanest look. Plus it runs all the way down to the bottom of the window. I have crank windows so I cannot comment on the effects on power windows.

I have these, never heard that before. Why would they do anything at all to the motors?

    Some stuff...
I guess since that last few centimeters when rolling the window up is a little snug with the in-channels, I was told can cause excess wear on the motor.

Looks like I'm in the minority here but I can't stand how they look. Much like a bug shield on the front. I get the reason behind them and can't fault that but I'm just not a fan.

I bought the stick on ones. Not sure the brand(whatever they sell at pep boys). I like the bulkier look they give.

I bought some cheap Adhesive window guards off ebay for $20. Thought I wouldn't like them but they've been awesome. The Adhesive is 3m tape and its been sticking very well. I am worried about the paint though. I guess we shall see.

But to answer your question, I love mine. I would like some in-channel

Weather techs, 3 yrs, like them, haven't noticed any effect to window motors.

And Britt, you don't need the suit, you are entitled to your opinion. ;)

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
WeatherTech in-channels for me, 5 years on my last truck. I had one blow out when it was about 4 1/2 years old, WeatherTech replaced both rears.. their warranty and customer service is fantastic! 5 years later the finish looked good and the color is still good. The thickness is better than some on the market too. I put some on my '13 as well. Make it a combo with floor liners too, another great product!

I would rather take a bullet to the head than stick visors on my paint. NO issues with power windows either.

I just installed the weathertechs on my truck about a week ago and all I can think is "why did I not do this sooner." I love them. I have the floor mats too and they are pretty sweet as well. Its amazing how much mud those carpets can conceal. With the mats. you just take them out and spray them off. I'd recommend both.

When I was shopping for the visors and the mats, I was tempted to go with the off brand cheaper versions, but the fit of the weather techs is amazing on both products. I would definitely say they are worth the extra money.

EGR cost less than weathertech and look the same. I love mine, had them for a year. Got them on autoanything.

The EGRs that I have seen are a close second. The main difference that I saw was that they have a ridge along the lip, WeatherTech is smooth.

I have the Weathertech in-channel visors. Best $80 I've spent on the truck.
