too-five? and yes, but the truly terrifying part for me, is the fact that NONE of those seemed like decision, that if I was in the same position, I'd have changed. just goes to show just how badly things can snowball out of control.

    Interesting, who's the author?

I don't but planning on picking up a cheap one from Harbor Freight this weekend if I can...

I got a tip from the guy in the FJ80 with all the Jeepers on the Hacket Gulch run, he said pour sand in the tube and then water where the bend is wanted, THEN bend it, the sand will help stop the deformation. dunno how much truth, but I was gonnna try it when I get around to doing mine.

I love audiobooks on long drives, too. However, I would suggest reading this one in book form as there is a map in the book that really helps in understanding the story/situation. (at least I thought so) I'm not sure if ebooks would have the map in it or not, probably would. It was nice to reference back to it from time to time.

    Ok

One series I really like is the Odd Thomas series by Dean Kunts... they made the first into a straight to DVD movie... which suprisingly was good and followed the book pretty well, as well as any movie I've seen.

any other recomindations? I've got like 4 credits burining a hole in my ewallet... LOL

I'm a fan of Edward Abbey - The Monkey Wrench Gang and Desert Solitaire are a couple of his better known ones.

The HF bender like this one: is crap. You can do small angle bends but over 45 deg or so even with sand and water it still crinkles the metal at the bend. Also leaves indentions on the top side where the pressure points are.

What do you recommend then? I don't want to waste my $ on crap, but also don't need a $300+ bender

I have thought about getting a decent bender and get good with it then do jobs for people on here for super cheap just to make some beer money and help people out. I don't know how many times I have seen people post up on here and other forums who need tubing bent.

That's a tire gate, I had that one on my truck. Now I have the straight one on. I traded it with I think his name here is cmanhonor, his real name is Artem. He' a really cool guy.
If you want to build something like either of them I'm sure you could check his out, and I totally don't mind if you check mine out.

Got my Redline Tuning quick lift kit in today. I ordered it the 28th, so only took 7 days from order to receive it.
Can't wait to get it put on.
