    That's hilarious.

Unfortuantely had a similar incidence except it was a wire from a bbq brush that got stuck on a burger....Same spot as you, did everything except I knew I had to go to the hospital because I saw the splinter in my throat. Almost had to put me under to take it out, as the numbing agent wasn't doing the trick as my nerves were shot. Doesn't help that the whole ER has to come around, cause they cant believe their ears. I had one guy in jeans and a shirt holding my head at one point, was like "da fuck are you" (mouth frozen at this point), some practicing doctor who had to grab a look.

Worst part is I haven't been able to bbq since. Son of a bitch.

As I was reading I was honestly expecting something more traumatic like an insect in the seed and was holding on like nemo. Sorry Chris. You've saved me from sunflower seeds.

got a little serious when they said I may need surgery, if I swallowed any metal:eek:...X-ray came up clear though.

the from nurse/receptionist lady said it happens a couple times a year, so that made me feel a little better.

We sedate gunner before you come over. His hate for you is so strong, that he finds the strength to jump on you even when sedated.

Chris is right...whooo...said that without laughing...anywho...sunflower seeds can kill. at least if you're like me and are horribly allergic to them to the point that they cause anaphylaxis

nope. they're pretty easy to avoid - diligent reading of ingredients labeling and avoiding foods that I know have them.
you're not supposed to eat the shells dipshit!
