    First of all it would be awesome, is it possible to upgrade my Reg. cab truck to a TRD Reg. Cab and get the stickers or would that just not be worth the money,

    2.7L 3RZ,K&N filter, 4" deck plate mod,flowmaster 40 series,3" suspension lift, hybrid 52"chevy/toyota rear springs.
    trade it in ??? why?......how hard would it really be? axles and suspension is basically it... with everyone installing lifts all the time swapping stock suspensions is easy and you may be able to find a cheap set of factory struts and springs from someone who lifted their trd.. the locking rear axle might be pricey but super easy to swap out

    What do you mean to convert it? Make it look like a TRD, or put all the TRD stuff on it?

    To be a TRD You'd need:
    TRD Coils
    Bilstien Shocks
    Locking Rear Differential
    TRD Seats
    Chrome Grill/Rear Bumper
    Black Mirrors/Door Handles
    16" Alloys + 265/70/16 BFG Rugged Trails
    Silver Interior Trim
    Front Tow Hook
    Bed Power Outlet
    And the TRD Stickers

    From a budget and looks standpoint, you're better off just leaving your truck the way it is and modding it from there.

    I was more wondering, i don't have monetary funds right now to even do what i want, if i did do it i would only do the major parts but i happy with my Reg. Cab

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Locking Rear Differential is really all that is needed to make the non TRD a better off roader.
    All Tacomas come with the front tow hook. The OEM Bilstiens are a sub par off road shock. You would be better off with Bilstien 5100's.

    The rest of the stuff, IMHO, is not nesassary.

    The only thing I consider to be missing on my regular cab is the limited slip off the sport. Sure the stock shocks suck but I plan on replacing them at 10K probably with the 5100’s everybody raves about.

    if you want to be authentic you'd need cloth sun-visors too

    and all of our trucks have tow hooks in the front

    my 2wd has 2
    does that make it better than the prerunners/4x4s? lol


    you could just lift it, put a trd sticker on it and call it a day

    I've got a set of TRD off-road coils/springs with less than 10K miles on them, I also have the Bilstein rear shocks. That would give you the TRD suspension. Rear leafs are crap so I wouldn't bother you with those.

    uhh the coils and leafs are the same as yours....they might have a special marking or something but they are the same spring rate etc.

    shocks are a different story tho...
