    OBX in NC i think lets you drive on their beaches.. dont quote me, i remember seeing pics on here somewhere.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i had to help push a random girl in a 2wd CRV once up there.

    not all of OBX though. north of corolla should still be, but i think there are also places on the south end near hatteras.

    mine is exactly a week after cam's.

    You have to buy a permit for the gestapo managed "National Seashore" but the 4x4 area is a public road. Main St. is the beach.
