Ok where do we start here...I guess we can start from where my last build left off.

I had a 2006 Impulse Red 5-lug. My parent's got it for me in March 2010 when I was 15 going on 16 and I was especially grateful. I wanted a truck and when I saw the 5-lugger, I said "that's the one." I got it for a great price and then I was off with the Tacoma. I didn't know a single thing about the Tacoma but over time I learned that there wasn't much available for the 5-lug models but I made it work. A few mods here and there and you could hardly tell what it originally looked like. Met the guys on TW (specifically the Vegas guys) and made some really good friends.

Here's what "Little Red" looked like


On February 1, 2014 I was involved in a highway accident with a drunk driver. Thankfully I was not injured but the same couldn't be said for the truck. As I was sitting in my truck calling NHP (Nevada Highway Patrol) all I could think about was how damaged my truck might be. I got out of the truck to snap pictures of the truck and this was the first thing I saw...



The driver of the other car (A rented Camaro) fled the scene on foot and was eventually caught a couple days later. I received money from insurance and my parents also pitched in on the new truck.

On March 31, 2014 four years after the arrival of Little Red came a Radiant Red DCSB! I've loved this color for a very long time and figured if I'm going to upgrade I'm going to wait till I find the right color. I knew Radiant Red was what I primarily wanted but also knew I was a hard color to find. So I was patient. 2 Months after my accident I got the truck and the mod bug has already hit. SO enough of me talking...let's start this build!

Here is the day when I got the truck 3/31/14



I didn't like the bug shield at all so shortly after snapping that picture above, I removed the bug shield.



Then went to Austin's place (VegasTaco08) and picked up some decals.



Switched out the taillight's with the taillights I had on Little Red. and took off the front mud flaps



Derp'd the front badge and had Daniel (MOT) help me uninstall the tube-steps



Future Mods (Sooner mods to Distant mods)
- Debadge
- BHLM
- Color matched Satoshi + Eyelids (Thanks R.A.M.F. for the eyelids btw)
- KMC XD Cranks (17x8)
- BFG 285/70/17's
- Fox MT Suspension lift
- TC or Maxtrac spindle lift

Those are just the basic cosmetic mods I'll be looking to get. Obviously more mods than that but those are going to be the big ones I want to get done.

 

Sub'd. Still sucks about what happened to your 5-lugger, but I'm excited to see the progress on this one!

 

Sad to see your baby is gone. But you made another baby 4x4 DCSB right? Congrats.

I still feel bad about not buying your tubesteps but I did buy Daniel's and they are exactly what I wanted. Im lookin forward to seeing your truck progress .and im a looking forward to meeting you in person eventually
