help diagnosing a problem

ok i have a 02 toyota taco with a V6 3.4L engine. every once in awhile (maybe 5-10% of the time cranking) i crank the engine it turns over but the engine stays under 1k rpm and dies, then i have to crank it and lay on the gas and it fires right up, it did this when i changed my battery and the ECU reset itself, i expected it to "relearn itself" within 30-50 miles, but this problem is startin to worry me a lil

 

Thats nuts because mine does the samething idles real rough and spudders but if you hit the gas it will run fine. I cleaned my throttle body and MAF and it seems to be working alot better now.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having this problem sometimes lol

 

Had to get my idle control valve changed. On my 2002.

Mass Air Flow Sensor I think lol. To get to it just pull that air box out that your air filter sits in and then take part of the tube off. You should see some wires plug into that air intake tube. It is a thin piece of wire (becareful and dont touch it) just spray it off with some MAF cleaner.

also have another problem, gahh now at every gas station i go to withthe exception of one i cant pump gas correctly, it triggers the mechanism on the pump that tell it the tank is full, while my tank is empty
