Says that was effective 2005, my base does not have them, in your front, you will have a protrusion behind the fender liner at the cab. Pull that back and see if you have sensors there. Pretty sure Toyota still uses hard sensor/shrader valves for this.

Our 06 Mustang didn't have them, but my 08 Jeep JK X did, my kid's 2010 f150 does, the 14 Stang too... They had a few years to phase it in.

Does your 05 truck have a TPMS reset button? I'd guess the Tacos fit under the light vehicle requirements. Might be exempt? They didn't bother to wire mine for CC, but they put in the reset and back up camera harness? I guess anything is possible! I hope I don't have it. It is a PITA dealing with wheels/tires.

I'll check mine further when I have time.

Looks good to me. Not a bad step above the stockers at all. What size are the wheels and tires?

Most harnesses will be pre-wired with certain options in it. Does not mean those options will be equipped. For example some come pre-wired for cruise control, where as some others do not.

Yeah, I found mine is not wired for CC, but it is for a back up camera???

It wouldn't have surprised me that it has a TPMS reset, but not the actual feature, (which apparently it does). I still find it odd that they build more than one harness, the one with all the options, stock just the single part for assembly, make adding options, even at the dealer level, a simple affair.

By my estimate, my truck is missing the CC and probably the brake controller plug/harness. I can't see them saving enough $ on 2 plugs to build and stock an entirely different part as complex as a harness.

Most of my moto experience is with KTMs. They are the king of shared parts across models. Simple and less $ to share parts.

I had the same issue with the CC with my exes rolla, turns out i had to wire in two wires to the fuse box. Pretty simple, comes with the kit that they sell. And they make harness with options in them, certain ones get the options you want, and others dont. Luck of the draw. I would think it cost less to put less in and stock certain types then it does to put it in every one.

Somebody's son in law must be in charge of building the back up camera harnesses and needs to make a good living then!

Well, near 100 miles later the TPMS light came on. I guess it is there after all! LOL.

I tried the reset button, no go. Guess I'll have to read the damn manual! Oh, the horror. My jeep has a forever TPMS too due to the 37s and wagon wheels on it. NBD if it stays lit.

What year did they add trac control and stability? Mine says it has LSD too. Anyone know if it is a clutch pack like a Ford 8.8 LSD trac-lok?

Ah, you've been wrong before! :D

ELSD will be fine for my needs, I have that in the Wrangler and it works pretty well. I was hoping for one last snow fall to try it out.

I don't think I'll be 3 wheeling this thing anyway!

All about that mechanical Nav, pre 09 came with a clutch pack, HINO LSD. It is what I installed in mine. Click my sig pic to go through my build. Should cover a lot of info for you.

Oh man, you're going to want bigger tires as soon as you get that lift in! Looks good though.
