The extended length of the shocks are a factor and will either allow for additional droop of the leaf packs or not. Also if he were running a 2" AAL and a 1" block he could get to 3" of lift and may not need longer lines.

I did not read that he had a 3" blocks and extended Billies in which case he should already have been the longer lines due to the extended length of the shocks.

No sense in getting uptight here.
If we are offering advice we should just make sure we have a clear understanding of what we are talking about. To say someone needs longer brake lines because they have a 3" rear lift is not correct, it depends on the lift/shocks and thus this explains my response.

This makes sense now doesn't it ;)

Got Saltey in here..lol Now help with my above Question. Im guessing I just unbolt the carrier bearing and then disconnect the drive shaft from the rear end... Then slide drive shaft back up in the trans tail and install spacer. right?

Just loosen the carrier bearing. It moves. Then install and bolt back up.

If you decide get a different carrier bearing drop bracket you can look here

    http://stores.streetacos.com/carrier-bearing-brackets/

    They offer 2 1 for under 4" and 1 for over 4"

I personally have this and no issues at all

Not uptight by any means. It may have came across that way but in no way meant it that way. When op stated he had a three inch lift I went straight for blocks which in this case he needs the extended lines. As you stated. If he had said I have a custom Alcan pack then I would have said you're fine. But when people have a quality rear lift they throw it out there. Like I have a 1 in block and a bastard pack that consists of three toyota leafs and 2 f250 leafs. So. If i was running a block lift you generally see people post I have a 1 in lift in the rear. It comes with the tw territory that most of the guys here will give you flack about running blocks.

But no definitely didn't mean to sounds pissed or uptight. Just making sure he does go try and jump his truck off a mall curb and rip the break lines. (That last part was supposed to be funny)

Jack stands help to hold the ds up once disconnected , but make sure you chock the tires, if because it will roll on you, if you have a prerunner at least. Sounds obvious but I didn't the first time

What you could do is have them send you a blank one. When you get it you can take it to a machine shop or if you have a drill press and drill the pattern you need.

    A few things
I measured mine and originally ordered the 65mm spacer since it was the most popular for my year. Then about an hour after i ordered I read on his page about the 66mm ones sometimes having an "11" stamped on the bolt head. I looked and mine had "11" on there. So i measured again and it was so close but I changed my order to the 66mm spacer. It's only a 1mm difference so I hope I measured right. I will probably try my install in the morning. Fingers crossed!
