    I hope not. :( Things like that happen very infrequently here....but they do happen and its inexcusable. I don't like it when bad things happen to people - especially kids.

    The state just passed a bill for those caught DUI over .15 has to have the blow tube thingy to start their car. It should be for EVERYONE caught driving under the influence!! Why the difference? Costs $$ - well, TOO BAD, you shouldn't have been drinking and driving. No sympathy on that here.

    How's your co-worker today?? :rolleyes: Come up with a re-payment plan? :cool:

    They just overturned a law here that gave DUI offenders the option of going through daily breathilizer tests to avoid jail time. They said it was unconstitiutional or some crap because it was a financial burden to the people (they had to pay a flat rate for the daily tests). What about the burden those folks cause to the state in jail fees and court fees? Are insurance companies going to be told that they can't charge higher premiums to those offenders too?

    Oh, just peachy here :rant:

    :eek: It's pretty sad when a 13 yo girl says to a foster parent that she's known for a couple of years, but has only been living with for a week, that with him, it's the safest she's ever felt. Some "parents" should have their parental rights terminated!!! My son just told me that's what the older girl said.
