konsta was telling me about a set of 14" wide tires or something like that, that were aired down very low, and the person drove over a cinder block and the tire literally ate the cinder block and you almost couldnt see it. That type of flex and grab over round/odd shaped obstacles can be a huge advantage. personal preference i guess

there is no way, on most rigs you could get a proportional sized 12.5" wide tire to fit so far in the fender it would be almost flush with the outside of the fender. on our trucks you would be all over the control arms and frame, and on solid axles you would be all over your steering arm (i guess unless the rim was big enough you could let the arm stuff inside the wheel. on the same note you would need a retarded amount of spacers to make a 10" wide tire stick out as far as a 12.5. just doesent seem practical

and do people exaggerate? sure. but some people i find to be credible. is it not reasonable that on a wide 42" tire it could give like that?

by feel i mean like driving it/riding in it feel. You can feel the tires more with a skinny tire and the wider ones seem to swallow rocks more.

This is on rough dirt roads and rocky trails. Not boulders/ledges/big obstacles ect.

Just what i have experienced with the tires i have run and other rigs i have been in.

Again, usually not a drastic difference for getting through an obstacle though.

I haven't ordered them yet actually i asked for them for my bday lol and I said i would chip in if need be. Bday is 4-20. I gave them the link to the one on toytecs website. Debating on getting the icon resi mounts too but they are like 80$ for just 2. Prolly use the frame mounts for now. The 5100's that toytec gave me with my kit are just way too short. It sucks going over even small speed bumps.

I have had both 255-85-16 and now 35-12.5-15's I have to admit the 35's worked much better.

Finally got rid of my CEL P0420..... Took it back to the shop who installed my magna flow and had them fix two leaks they left behind. One was at the post cat flange (which is before the Post-Cat 02 sensor).... Lets all cross our fingers and hope the code doesn't come back....if it does, that means I will be needing a new cat. At the tune of $1,100 from the dealer, I may have to go the Rock auto route.

Virtually nothing yet still spent money. Finally got my WeatherTechs. They're nice, fit perfectly and yet I find myself wondering why I spent $100 on floor mats. I also mounted my Maglight and played around in the fresh snow.

What is the advantage of the magnaflow vs. OEM cats?
