So I tapped the front bumper of a 1996 Honda that was all banged and bruised as I was backing into a spot this afternoon. I left the guy a note with my phone number and an apology. He came running out and freaked out--said he was going to have to get an estimate on the damage from my trailer hitch. But, his dad is a body damage guy. Sounds like I'm about to get royally F*ked. What would y'all do? I am not shelling out more than 50 bucks for this guy's bumper. The whole car can't be worth more than 1k

Well....hope and pray he doesn't become an asshole about it. If i drove a car like that, i'd just shake your hand, say "thanks for stopping to leave a note" and be glad you didn't hurt your truck.

    Okay, two questions:

Anybody know about what it would cost to do my driver and passeger side windows to the legal maryland limit of 35%?

And, anyone have a d ring shackle receiver hitch (can just be the mount, doesn'g have to have the shackle with it) that they recommend? I was looking at an aluminum one (because it won't rust) but they don't seem to be rated at as much strength. So now i'm back to steal i guess. I want one that is black, preferably powder coated. Any suggesstions?

Similar to this but preferably powder coated or some how protetcted from rust:

On a truck in Maryland the back windows can be any %. The front drivers and passengers windows is 35%. You are allowed a 5in visor of any % tint on the front window.

    Well i knew that :p

I just wanted to know what percentage is on them to begin with. If i got tint on the side windows, i wouldn't want it to be darker than the access doors, that'd look weird. Thank you anyway though :)

I got a shackle mount if ya want it don't have a use for it without the hitch.

On the tint thing I have 35 front and the backs the factory. It's just a tad darker than the 35%

It is not too bad being mismatched.

Yes they are. A lot of the State Troopers carry light meters.

Have a decent tint installed. The tint I had installed is made by Johnson. The good tints block UVA and UVB rays from the sun which fade interiors and make the plastic dash crack. I usually use a sun curtain on the front window when parked in the summertime.

Perfect! I figure mine are the same as the DCs lol. A 2" shackle mount? I'll take you up on that if you're serious :)

How do you tow the boat?
