I keep track but don't care. Same exact reasoning. I don't mind it though I'm still enjoying the truck a lot compared to the 350. Maybe cause its a brand new vehicle and something different than I'm used to

 

Exactly, gotta stop caring. This hobby isn't about mpg. I've seen people before get concerned about mpg when they want to get an exo. Lol

 

Correct, just to clarify I don't really cry, I just LOL MPG and wait to go broke

 

I gave up on gas mileage. That way it's a nice surprise when I get great gas mileage haha

 

I still keep track of it usually just in case problems arrive. But I'm never oh mah gerd about It haha

 

I'm not comming to Moab. I'm concerned the camping gear will hurt my Mpgs. I can't have that

 

I agree. I think we decided just to put space savers on the crawler instead of 40s so we have extra spending money when we get there.

 

Can you make up hills on the highway with 35s now?

 

We have to rock forward and back to get the 3.0 to move 40s up a hill

 

Hey ya know what, that's a good idea. 32s to 40s, really no difference anyway. Just looks. Might as well save that money for the important stuff, like dining out

But in all seriousness we used to flat tow our 85 4runner with our 96 tacoma. We'd put rollers on it and the throw the 35s in the bed of the taco for when we got there.

 

I hate flying... My 3rd time to ever fly. Delayed an hour.

 

And hour delay is nothing.

 

Yes it is, it's an hour. A delay is a delay. When you begin to be okay with a delay then that means they know they can push it back farther and people won't get mad because it's the norm, which is terrible.

you can always get a second vehicle for an everyday driver if you care about mpg once you lift your truck

 

Or motorcycle!

 

Forgot to mention: my 400 mile tank was with my 700-800 pound shell and 100-200 pounds of railroad equipment in the bed. Running 91 octane fuel. I've been running strictly 91 octane for a few months now and have noticed an increase in mileage and a significant reduction in knocking when accelerating.
