Looks like the lower BJ failed and then whatever he hit pulled the threaded insert in the Spindle out.

Sucks and pricey.

 

Actually looks like after the LCA BJ failed it was rotating and wrapped the steering link around the LCA

 

Lower ball joints and offroading never end well, I have too much experience with that.

 

NelsonTmatt dropped his lower on the I-10 going like 70mph....twice...

Doug, you ever pulled the throttle body on the 3.4?

 

Yeah the only thing with that is my wife and i both enjoy the desert and mudding so it's not like we can take turns driving that would suck. But we're not doing nothing too crazy with hers, it will get turned into a long travel down the road but by then we will have a nicer truck and my reg cab will be LT and I'll swap the engine for an ls2 plus a lot of other extras

And on top of it who really enjoys riding bitch

 

I remember him telling me it happened twice while driving , about 99.99% sure it was the 10 because he was coming back from desert , the other time might have been in town , def. driving both times, mine dropped out in my driveway & it still scared the shit out of me, can't even imagine 70 on freeway...fuck me ...

Hey can anybody give me a hand with wiring up my second light bar on my wife's truck? It already has a 10" installed just orw did it and I'm not sure which wires I need to cut into in order to get the second bar running off the same switch. Lunch and beer will be provided haha.

 

Doing a little maintenance, trying to find why my MPG's are so low, last tank i drove like a granny and only hit 13.5 MPG.

I pulled the spark plugs (well 4 of them, i didn't pull the other 2 as they were under the TB) and they looked like the originals, and i pulled the MAF and cleaned it, so i decided to check the TB and it looked like this so i decided to pull it and clean it (i wasn't sure how so i was gonna ask you but i got it figured out).

I'm fixing to go get oil and a filter to change the oil in my sis's truck and was gonna pick up spark plugs but auto zone and orally are all recommending single electrode plugs, I assume these (NGK dual electrodes are the correct plugs?

Yeah i saw some heavy deposits by the butterfly/throat , so you may have some crappage resrticting airflow /proper mixing with fuel
& I've run the NGK's without issues, personally I'd just get the Densos
