    In California, take is by hand only if diving (free or scuba). No tools, traps, hooks, or spears can be used.
    We can use hoop nets if fishing from a boat, but the boat can't have divers in the water.

    Hahaha, yeah I live in Georgia now and before that it was Alabama. I think noodling is crazy, god getting chomped by a big ole snapper is one way to seriously ruin your day. Those things are crazy mean and have a terrible bite!

    Still can if you know where to go.
    Maybe not right out on the jetty, but all of my "secret spots" are above 30ft.
    Makes buoyancy control more important, especially with surge, but with a 120cf tank, we've done bug dives lasting over 2 hours.
    Yup... and with the bugs, you can see them.... if one antenna is pointed toward you and one back into the hole, there is something back there that he's keeping an eye on. May or may not be helpful to you ;)
