Ok so I went to put the lil 74 led bulb from superbrightleds in my shifter console on my 03' and it doesn't stay in. It lights up but won't snap in? Thought I read that it's not really a 74??? :notsure: thinking maybe just a dab of glue or something but that's pretty shitty way to make it work. Any input?

I put the 74 in mine and it works just fine. I don't remember if it snapped in or not but it seems to stay in pretty well. mine isn't loose or anything.

I've got 74s in my shifter so I dunno, easiest thing to do is slightly pinch the inside of the socket then press the bulb in

Awesome post OP. Rear brake light went out, figured is a good time to go LED. Is there a vendor that sells complete kits? (brake light, backup light, blinkers and blinking relay etc). Thinking of doing the front switchbacks as well.

Glad to hear about those emblems man! im looking at debadging soon... im nervous though I know my paint has faded quite a bit so im hoping I can somehow hide any "ghost badges" I get from the debadging

I got the single projectors. I just tried to find some that weren't too cheap looking construction wise although im sure they all work the same. kinda do wish I got the ones with leds on the sides just because you can tell they don't go off the reflectors at all. they almost look like a retrofit for my back up lights haha

Depends on what you want... Just go to superbrightleds and they have a bulb selector that tells you every bulb you'll need

How about the map lights? The lights in the piece that the rear view mirror hangs from.

Okay so I'm assuming the map light bulbs are the same as the dome light bulb? They look about the same after taking them out. Has anyone replaced these bulbs? I need to find one that fits and works properly. I bought some from ebay for my dome light and it doesn't fit well and strobes when it should be on

Also has anyone found a place to buy nice bright led bulbs that are cheaper than superbrightleds.com? I bought some off Amazon for my gauges because one went out and they are dim as hell.
