Lol ok I won't say any more... I will post more pictures later after the race. Should be a good one. Turn 1 is going to be real exciting. Saw lots of drivers locking the brakes up trying to make that turn.

Oh and than after qualifying last night The Scorpions played a concert. It was pretty wild watching those old guys jump around.

So the GP2 cars are way louder than F1. About another hr till the race. Can't wait.

 

Great race... did they ask Rosberg to back off. I can't believe he couldn't pass Hamilton, he seemed to be able to beat his time every section but then would let up and not press it. Almost seemed like he was keeping it within a second just in case he was given permission to race.

Ferrari needs to get some speed figured out.

 

They had to tell him to back off. He was pushing it hard and than let off. Ferrari was doing good but need to pick it up. Oh and an awesome wreck towards the end. Right in front of me too so it was awesome to watch.

 

Great race, best one in a while..... Could've ended in tears for some teams, glad cooler heads prevailed.

Why is Maldando always involved in the problems.....

 

That was a huge hit by Maldando. I couldn't believe that car flipped so easily. It was a great race. Since this was my first F1 race and first time really watching it. I am hooked.

 

So anyone else who is wondering about the sound of the new turbo 6s, hands down the V8s sound better. So they ran GP2 and those cars shook the grandstand when they drove by and it was crazy loud. The F1 are still loud but its not even close. They whine in the low end when the turbo is spooling up and than it kicks in and you hear all the motor and it sounds very airy. But listening to all the cars, the F1s sounds the worst. The Porsche GT3 cars sound better than F1 lol.

 

What an awesome race

Everybody crying about the decibel level should give it a rest if that's the type of racing we are going to be treated to this season

Couldn't agree more. After the last race I was one that was posting that I wanted more "racing", with not just the majors and the runaways. I believe that I got that Sunday!

 

Except for the Mercedes runaway.
