Pulled the alternator. I think it's safe to say it's not operating at 100% capacity

New alternator installed but still won't start... Starter turns motor but I still don't think I have spark. Battery charger no longer reads error code though. I don't know where to go from here...

So I read on another thread that the fuel pump usually kicks on for a few seconds when you turn the key forward. I didn't hear anything in my gas tank. How do I check the fuel pump?

Wives tale there. Being on concrete has no bearing on a battery.

It's not the concrete, it's the metal reinforcement inside the concrete that gives problems.

C'mon guys, can you settle this elsewhere? It's not my battery, so lets move on. I am currently searching online for a replacement ECU. Not sure if I want to pay the dealership $100 to see if it is actually the ECU.

Before you even begin to go there.
Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key to the run position?

Never knew if it was, I got a bad reading when one was on concrete charging but it also gave a bad reading on the workbench. I just assumed it was from the concrete since I was always told dont charge the on concrete. Good to know though.

    Ok
First thing is to check batt voltage and key on voltage and grounds to the ecu pins. Your going to need a schematic.
If you have correct power and ground to ecu is more than likely fried.
Ecu controls fuel pump so no power.

At this point Chris Id pa the 100 to find out. Not sure if it was asked earlier and is irrelevant to not starting but did you change your engine and diff fluid?

Crap. I wouldn't even know where to start for this. I mean, I have an OHM-meter, but that's about it... Any suggestions?

I might end up doing that... Changed the oil. Diff fluid should be fine since I have the Diff Breather Mod

    Chris
Your kinda over you head on this.
You really need to get to someone that can go through the proper steps.
Your giving it one hell of an attempt but without some diagrams and knowledge of following along your going to be going on circles.
You may be able to get some wiring pics online but I feel your money would be better spent having someone look at it for you.
With everything being as they are with no CEL ( and it was ok before) the ecu is not awake.
Now not to be gloom and doom but you have air bag sensors and ecu that if submerged will require inspection and replacing if necessary.
Your on a long journey and I think a couple of hundred bucks spent with a qualified tech will save you a remendous amount of frustration and wasted money.
I would hate to see you go down a wrong road ...
