    Matte dark bronze sounds like root beer to me!!!

    I need these wheels, its getting really hard to sit on the cash I have allocated for them when other things I want keep popping up for cheap :(

    I think it's just the "beer" that intrigues you Canadians.

    Way back in the beginning of this post there was a computer gen'd drawing of the wheel in just a matte aluminum-looking color. I could go for that too.

    I have oiled bronze fixtures in my house, part of a big renovation. Black and bronze will go well together. But it would look stupid on my silver Tacoma.

    Mine are back ordered too. Three weeks approx. Have faith, it could all come together at the right time. Just when you have to take your wheels off to put on your ome, :fenforcer:, the new wheels show up and you have a brand new truck! :kona:

    I don't know, I disagree. I did some color testing with factory colors and a dulpicolor that is as close as i could find to Rootbeer and it looks okay with the silver and black trucks.

    outside edges are Silver Streak mica and Magnetic Grey, root beer and black. Along the middle i sprayed 2 coats of clear coat to see how it affected the colors.

    Not happening. I've gone with a color-matched grill surround to replace the chrome. I removed the chrome steps and I have black Avid step-sliders coming (couldn't bring myself to drill the frame under warrantee). It has to be some shade of black to grey on the wheels. And no gold bolts. Those look like gold teeth to me.

    Facebook page says the April issue releases 4/8. You will be able to download the PDF but it looks like tomorrow will be the first time everyone can download it.

    I know the iPad app release was designed to give the app users the edge since they paid for the app. I own an iPod classic so I am eagerly awaiting tomorrow! :)
