My 97 is worth about 4,000 to 5,000 and it is just a base model no extras so I would say close to 10,000 but I am not sure but this site should give you a good idea of what you should be paying for it http://www.kbb.com/

so is KBB pretty fair on Tacoma's? i know its off the map sometimes because of supply and demand...

    Condition Value Excellent
    $9,620
    Good
    $8,945
    Fair
    $8,045

so it comes out at around 8000-9500 depending on condition

well, I payed about 16.5K for mine a couple years ago with 90K miles on it. Now with 110K miles its probably a couple grand less. Maybe like 14 or 15K.

KBB is a good place to check, they have descent pricing for Tacoma's IMO.

the person is asking 11,500 and KBB is closer to 9, i've been looking around for quite sometime and it looks like the taco's go for a good 20-30% above KBB private party retail...

wow! with 130K miles, it seems like a good deal. you could maybe get him to drop the price a little. (Maybe)

I'd try to talk him down a little, unless he's got full maintenance records and receipts and whatnot.
