Huh? Maybe I'm misreading this or being too close minded. You want a rollup tonneau that you can have a rack on?

Welcome to the site. I hope someone here knows where to get such a creature.

Good luck. I've been searching for two years and finally just gave up on the whole cover thing. I use the Toyota cargo bars for my bikes and skis with Thule accessories.

The whole composite bed thing is a joke. Thule makes a truck rack that uses the tracks and the bed. PaceEdwards gave me the same song and dance and said they wouldn't ever manufacture something. I think they just feel they won't make a profit is all but little do they know there are a lot of us that would like that solution.

Looks like you cant use your bed rails with the cover. I don't know if I would need them If I had the cover though........ just a thought.

So do I but the lady on the phone a couple years ago used the composite bed thing to say PE won't be doing them for the newer Tacoma's. Should just petition Thule to make something that sits a little lower to the truck bed. I don't like their truck rack.. makes my bikes too high up. :)

I just put on the BakFlip G2 a few weeks ago. I am pretty satisfied (despite still adjusting to keep out what little water has gotten in). The company also makes a hard retractable and traditional hard cover:

I work in construction and i need to carry a lot off expensive tools with me and every time i go to home depot i need to shove all of them inside my truck thats why i need a lid on my bed. I also need a ladder with me at all times, I buy lumber sometimes too and thats why i need a rack, but i want somenthing sturdy but with style. I found this retractable bed cover with a rack its call explorer rails series but they dont want to put it in my truck. today whyle driving i saw a guy with one he couldnt stop he was in a hurry but he said that he order it and install it himself, thats all i could get from him.

Check out the RollBak - http://www.rollbaktonneaucover.com/

    Or the PaceEdwards FullMetal JackRabbit:
    http://www.truck-gear-supercenter.com/Retractable_Tonneaus.html

They're almost identical and similar in price - I haven't been able to get info on what the difference between them is.

Well, the PaceEdwards has a 3 yr vs a 1 yr on the RollBak, but it's also almost $500 more! Here's a link to a comparison page:
    http://www.rollbaktonneaucover.com/comparison_chart

    The RollBak definately looks heftier!
