Since I put my extended travel icons in set with 2" lift, and rear lift 1.5" with AAL, I have gotten my truck up on to 2 wheels twice since then. The first time wasnt so bad, but the recent one was a real close call. First time was doing a donut in dirt and the second time was cornering a real tight turn in dirt also but wasnt going fast. Maybe the sway bar removal plays a part. Anyways I also want to warn people who are switching from a stock setup to a lift, be careful and get used to your new suspension before doing anything dangerous.

I would almost bet its because of the sway bar removal. Have you driven it with the sway bar attached after the lift install?

Might be worth a try? Especially if you're cornering/driving quickly. Nobody wants a rolled taco :D

I've debated taking mine off but with the road miles my truck sees i'd rather leave it in tact and remove it before a trail run. I'd hate to have to swerve for a deer and put the truck on 2 wheels

Big tires, big lift, Lots of stuff's.
All of these. I have a top heavy 4runner with lifted 3inches and an RTT on top and I can drive it as fast as I need around corners or what ever without picking up any tires.

The icons might not be valved for what you want or you may need a stiffer spring.

It wasnt the coilovers or the truck, I took turns much faster earlier on the trail with no problems. It was the situation where I cranked a hard donut. I wasnt trying to blame the equipment for this.

 That's exactly what it is. A sway bar causes the front end to slide (understeer) at the limit so the vehicle doesn't flip.

Stock Hilux without swaybar vs Mitsu L200:

    Odd

    I have a 2" lift front, 2" rear......no swaybar

Prolly close to 100 HP over stock, drive it sideways plenty of times...........never an issue, but never in soft sand.

    Something sounds wrong

I have no sway bar and never even come close to rolling my truck. If you drive beyond your capabilities you will have a problem. Such as a roll over. ..

I was doing donuts once...on a dry empty lake bed. Haven't done any since. Got lucky that I didn't kill jasmine who was in the passenger seat at the time. Needles to say...we now have a rollcage

I got my coilovers for off road reasons, not donuts.

Lowering the suspension gets you better doughnuts.

Yeah its a driver issue for sure, I just thought I'd make this as a warning to people like myself who go from stock to a lift and want to do donuts.
