So finished the fender trimming today with Bob's assistance (NYCO). Here are the before and after shots:

    Before

    And After:

Used a 7/16th trim which is a bit larger then your typical fender trim from the local auto parts store. Has it more adhesive then the normal trim. Found a nice trick online too... just use a heat gun or blow dryer to warm up the trim and it help adhere better to the surface you are applying it to. Found the trim here www.trimlok.com. Only drawback is you have to buy in large quantities. So if any local Colorado peeps want in on this PM me. :)

Well a local Colorado member has dibs on them for the moment.. otherwise they will be for sale on the trading post soon. :D
Fuckin' awesome so far. You know me and how much I drive daily so I am still on my first tank of gas but I am tracking it to see if I gained anything. Really it's mute cause I am moving to 315's but still. I broke in the front on a very straight road near me. Played with 4low the other day in the snow and could not believe how slow it moved. Definitely a noticeable difference.

Before gear change and on 285's with an auto tranny I was 15 to 16 mpg's. Still on my first tank at 4.56 gears so I don't know yet the amount of improvement.

I like the work on the fenders. I have to do something about mine now.

I will hit 81k on my 2007 when I need to change the diff fluid from the gear swap.

Yeah you really need to trim now. Truck looks good though. :)

You are going to need to trim that ARB too.

Keep me posted as I could be interested in going back down to 16 inch wheels with 285's, then selling my 265/70/17's

by the way the fenders chopped looks way better, cant wait to see her with 315's!!

So I got my SCS wheels in today! Thanks Vin!!!! I took an afternoon drive up to my Cousin Tire Shop got me some new tires. I chose to go with Hercule's MT in a 315/75/16 this go round. I wanted to get back to an MT since I do not have to daily drive all the time.

Brought my 285's home for a friend who is going to buy them. Anybody need a chase truck for a Baja Race! :)

Thank man. When are you getting yours?

I will be spending tomorrow cutting back the cab mount some more and taking a BFH to the wheel well.

I've had mine on for a week. Wheeling it tomorrow, I'm guessing there will be some more firewall beating after this weekend.
