met up with a couple of the WY guys and went to redfeather to try and find a logging road to cure the wheeling itch. after we found a fun little dirt road we headed back, turned onto the main dirt road. i was still in 4hi, then WHAM! truck locked up every tire and skids to a stop...... violently. won't move, won't shift out of 4wd. once i got it out of 4wd it moved under it's own power and limped it home

 

But the bigger question is...why was this not posted in the upcoming events thraed?

Many moons ago a buddy and I went out to a 1000yd range in Byers to shoot M1 Garands with iron sights. That's a 30/06.

And yotaman, that sounds like the coolest idea for a non-wheeling meet I've ever heard

 

If I'm ever in there and see it I'll snag you a few boxes.

Did you use the rivets that came with the kit? I'm thinking of getting small self tapping screws in place of the rivets, I don't like rivets.

SWEET! is it a kit or did you make it?

 

It's a kit from user Mattgecko.
It's fairly simple but he has it all measured out perfectly and soldered connections between the led strips. I could have made the kit myself but would have involved ordering stuff off of ebay etc.
The most difficult part was running the wire under the truck and zip tying it and clipping off the excess zip tie. I'm kind of OCD about making stuff look nice. The kit was awesome.

 

Very nice, I want to get some for my bed and under my hood. I will once I get more money.
