more aggressive look

I have a 3 inch lift with 265/70/17 bfg a/t tires with trd sport wheels, and I want the tires to stick out of the fenders more for a more aggressive look. They look too sucked in. Is this possible? What would i need?

 

a set of spidertrax spacers should do the trick.....or get another set of wheels with less backspacing.

 

wheel spacers, i dont know much about them, but there are tons of threads about them. use the search button

 

x1000 I have 4.5" backspacing, and my tires are out over an inch...

 

are the spidertrax spacers worth the money or should i save up for new wheels with less backspacing?

 

That's a personal thing, what you can afford, and longevity. I was originally going to do the Spidertrax because I had only heard great things about them, but decided on going a more permanent route with replacing the rims. Good luck to you!

You can occasionally find them on the forums used, but your best bet is http://www.spidertrax.com. A set of four will run you $200 plus shipping, which is what they normally run on eBay and other offroad sites.

i opted for getting new rims. mine are revolvers with 4.5 bs and -12 offset.

 

i'd save for wheels, simply because I like the look of a wheel with less backspacing. Flush stockies look ugly imo and pushing them out with spacers would look even worse.

 

are the black moto metal 951 a good choice thats the wheels i will probably save up for?

I looked through this thread but please help me out here, im not really the guy that knows a bunch about tires. but what does offset and backspacing mean? noob question i know, but id rather know about it now than screwing up.

 

i agree with all of the above. either spidertrax spacers or new wheels with a smaller backspacing will give you the more aggressive look
