    How was that bearing job? What did you do about the tool needed to get the bearing off the axle?

    Haha ok, I'll get your pictures today after work! It would have been nice of toyota if they made outswing doors for the access cab...good thing I'm only 5'3"!
    I went with Polk DB 571's for the front and back. Kenwood KAC-8405 4-Channel Amp and a Kenwood KDC-BT952HD. I just hope it all sounds good when its all said and done.

    I just went ahead and spent the $20 on a SWR meter. Had it tuned in 5 minutes.

    That's been the plan. But every place keeps selling out of the $20 meters. Not paying $40 for one.

    ...which is exactly why I had them do it. :) I HATE buying single use tools when I don't have to. On the other hand, the toolbox is looking pretty decent these days (for my purposes) :)

    Yes, you need to. You'll get crappy distance if you don't, and can actually blow your radio.

    The el-cheapo antenna that I had was actually hosed. The guy at the shop showed me on the meter he was using. I opted to buy another almost-as-cheap antenna from him, and he showed me the difference on the meter as well. Made sense to me, so I didn't feel like he was just trying to sell me an antenna.

    Trust...but verify. :) Although...he's an animal, so yeah I'd go with his recommendations too probably.

    For lifted truck alignment specs, does this sound right?
    Toe= 0*
    Camber= 0*
    Caster= 2.5-3*

    I'm probably going to get mine done this week.

    Yeah, but you need to filter.

    If not I wouldn't be able to pull Ol' Red into my garage at this point.

    Yea. Anything around 2.6-7 or higher to 3 is good. It will make the front end much more stable.

    I'm running JL audio with my sub and speakers. Vented 8 inch. It's pretty boss.

    And more caster moves my front tires further forward too, right? I would think they should be able to get 3 if they read the LR UCA alignment instructions.

    Only when you use the LCA to adjust, if you use the LR upper adjustment it will move the tire to the rear. LCA moves forward, UCA moves rearward
