Newly installed system

First off I'd like to thank everybody on this forum... I looked up a ton of info on here and learned a lot before I had this done to my truck.

I've been doing car audio for over 10 years and I still have love it. Just don't have time to do the installs anymore.

Heres the results

Alpine INE-Z928HD
Exactfit kit for 2014 Tacoma
MB Quart PWE 160 6.5" Component set front & rear
Alpine PDX-F4 (4ch)
Alpine PDX-M12 (Mono)
2 Kicker 12" CompRT Subs (Shallow mount)

The alpine exact fit kit is awesome. The steering wheel controls work pretty well. I forgot the plug that someone mentioned on this forum but it plugged into the stock USB adapter and the Alpine unit perfectly. The stock rearview camera still works great with the alpine unit.

Car sounds amazing... I'm very happy

 

Nice HU. Does your iPod connect from the back? I like to keep mine in the glovebox.

 

it connects right in the front where our original USB plug is.

 

Looks great! You might want to remove the plastic off the back of those seats though. Mine rattled when the bass was up.

How is the HU with the suin on it? My pioneer is hard to see with sun or sunglasses on

 

how did you wire in the stock camera and stock usb?

How is cabling behind the head unit? My installer was complaining about it when I had the shop run my amp wires the other day. Looks like you've got your 928HD sitting in there quite happily.

 

I don't know how the wiring behind there is. The shop installed it.

 

The stock camera I don't know what they did. They told me it's a plug from japan they got. And the front USB plug it's a plug you buy online. I don't remember where I bought it but another member on here with the INE posted it and I got the same one.

Where did you get the box?

 

I think total including install was a little bit under $4000. I also have a viper 2way w remote start and smartstart.

 

I got the box from a stereo shop.. its custom built to our car... fits like a glove... you can find it on ebay too. I think its like 100 bucks or something plus shipping. Groundshaker i think is the company.
