question - on my 08 V6. The morons at jiffy lube today were doing something and I overheard them talking about the tranny / oil.
I asked if they messed with it and they said they could not cuase the plug was sealed.
Any chance they coulda F'd something up?

The plug is not sealed. There have been a few instances in which the tranny was drained instead of the engine when an oil change was attempted. Never use Jiffy Lube.

    Thanks for the info.
I went down and looked at the tranny plug they must have opened it or wiped it down with an oily rag. (oil is around it). Is there any way to check the tranny fluid level ??

The tranny has to be at a certain temp to check the oil level. Best bet is to take it to the dealership. Personally, I would complain to the manager of the place you took it to, and make them pay for an inspection from the dealer.

I hear people say that the '09 auto tranny is "sealed" with no dipstick. But my '09 auto as a dipstick. Maybe there's a difference in the 2.7 and the 4.0.

There is a difference between the 2. You have a 4 speed auto, and the 4.0 Has the new (er) 5 speed unit.
