I love my Moab 2.0 from CBI. Plus they don't have a 6 month waiting list like most of the others.

I got mine 2 weeks after I ordered it.

I got started around 5:30 and finished up at 8:00. It wasn't too bad of a job. I'll tackle the passenger side tomorrow.

Once I got the spindle disconnected I was able to see just how bad the bushings were. The control arm only had about 5" of travel, 2.5" each direction. It will be interesting to see if I can feel a difference on the drive in to work tomorrow.

can someone fucking tell me how many inches it take to level out a fucking Tacoma??!! I have 3 fucking answers on how big my leaf springs need to be for an 8 inch lift and im about to say fuck it and get my dodge challenger back. Some guy with an 8 inch lifted Tacoma told me he got 7 inch leaf springs and he was dead level with the front which was 8 inches high. A lot of other people told me to get 6 inch leaf springs because of rake being 2 inches which would level me out in the front. And another fucker told me to get 8 inch leaf springs... I don't shit money so I don't have $3000 to just through around. CAN someone helpful and full of taco knowledge tell me wtf to do?

sorry im pretty mad. almost just spent a $1000 for nothing.

David, the majority of us have no experience with lifts higher than 6". Hell, most of us are running a 3" lift.

What are you planning to run in the front? I'm assuming it has to be a drop bracket lift of some sort.

Are you planning on having constant weight in the bed at all time?

Drop bracket 6 inch lift then putting bilstein 5100's in the front and extending it 2 inches to equal 8 inches total for the front. Now I need the back to be 8 inches so wth do i need for the back? 6 inch leaf springs? 7 inch leaf springs? what does it take to level the front with the back?

No sir. I will probably never have weight in the back to make it sag. I don't want any rake. I want it to be completely level all the way around.

Normally guys that level with 5100's set them at .85 to be level with the rear if they don't have an aal... Using that as a refence it should be one inch difference between front and rear. The thing id be worried about is sagging over time. While 7 might be level to begin after time or adding weight in the bed you might develope some bro lean.

To me I would think so BUT almost all leafs packs settle over time so that's something to keep in the back of your mind.

Well if you're going to be a dick you can get the fuck out. You're putting together a non standard bro lift with cheap components. Go play somewhere else.
