Got my CB working finally! :D SWR was 1.4 for both 1 and 40. I just had to separate the stud threads and the mount with a rubber washer.

I could hear people but I don't think they could hear me, gonna test it with my friends in the next couple of days.

Thanks to all that have helped out with the process!

    Looks good man.

If you want to paint it this is what I used http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000BL39BK/ref=pd_aw_sims_2?pi=SS115 just find a model car paint that matches and spray it with that airbrush. It's much more controlled than the rattle can way

The All Pro bed rack was delivered to me today. Got it all mocked up, but then I had to drill out all of the holes. Had to buy 14 more nuts and bolts as well because they only gave me enough to put the rack together, not enough to bolt it to the truck or bolt the accessory bars on.

Still have to bore out the accessory bars as well, they are much more off so I figured I'd wait until I have time to measure everything out and try to get them lined up as best I can...

I'm just glad to have it and get it installed. Really like it so far.

Thanks! I was thinking about color matching, but I kind of like the black the more I look at it. Most of my dash is black/oak. Also my steering wheel cover is black and my seat covers are black/oak, so I think I may keep the pod black!

Where did you get the interior color match paint? I will be mounting mine soon and dont really care for the black color.

Also, did you take your old column out or mount this on top and drill the screws into the column?

I went to a hobby shop and got all the model car paints that I thought would closely match the interior and experimented until I found a dead on match. I have a 98-00 truck so your color will be different. I also used that airbrush from Amazon.

Keep in mind there are two kinds of model paints, both are very durable for interior a pillar use... there is acrylic which is water based and enamel which is oil based and they can not be mixed together. I used enamel and used those little bottles of airbrush thinner to thin the paint. Hope this helps.

As for the A pillar install, it's a Lo-Teck(?) A-pillar pod and I installed it over the existing plastic and drilled to the metal.
