Not having done it yet, I can only go by what I've read. And I read about 20 threads today. Several folks commented on the location of the one for the manual being more difficult.

I found

$146 Denso 234-9001 Upstream Air Fuel Ratio Oxygen Sensor with 10.6” 4-Wire Harness, for Auto Trans Equipped Vehicles

Denso 234-9001 for $103 and

$61 234-4189 Oxygen Sensor

234-4189 for $55 at Amazon. Gotta add about 10% for tax to that but free shipping. ~ $175 total. Everyone else was more expensive. The Toyota OEM place wanted close to $300 for both.

Yeah, I read Madjik's rant. Made it sound much harder that what Timmy described.

I'm pretty sure that they moved the emissions stuff to out back with the '02. I think Ben's looks much like Frank's

Yea guess he had been trying for a long time. I had it done in an hour but was harder then i though. Made me wish id just done mine with i had done my clutch as they were right there.

 

also..did ben call his dad to discuss summa???

Yeah, getting compensated by the hour is long past.

I get paid the same whether I work 15 or 8 or 4.

 

Every job I have had is by the hour..haha other then my own personally business.

 

Classes are only offered at certain times and i need to get them done haha

haha nope. at that point the risk of failing classes sets in which is not an option

 

Talked with my boss about running the summer labs with my summer school classes. gonna be working from 8-12 m-f before my 12-1:15 lecture and 2-5 lab

so im gonna be in class/work m-f from 8 to 5

so. much. fucking. fun.
Getting another raise though. Just gotta work on the T.A. job.

this last week and weekend has been school from 9-12ish, work till 6 then study till 11 or 12, then repeat...so a 8 to 5 would be swell

note to everybody:

Taking organic chem/synthesis lab, calc III and calculus physics at the same time is a bad fucking idea.

 

Yeah i just took one all day class in college it was called auto tech. Sure i didnt spend grips of money to go to school or have really high paying job after but i can find a job anywhere even in our current econ. So i have to nail down a girl that will get the high paying job. lucky for me im good at that

02 sensors on my 96 manual werent too bad. Didn't have to go from the cab to access them

 

finnished doing a head gasket on a 5.9 cummins this morning Pays 7.2 hours was done in 6. started on a 6.0 power joke head gasket i havent even gotten the valve covers off yet and im 3 hours into it. pays 22.8 hours

 

You mainly do diesel work right? I have to do one next week if he shows up. Its a dramax and im a little hesitant on doing it. They very hard to do? And that powerstroke. You take the cab off for that one?
