I'm not going to be able to make it Was hoping I could work it out somehow, but I wouldn't be able to make out until darkish, and I wouldn't really want to go somewhere I have never been before (especially in a 2wd) in the dark. Plus I don't think they would let me in after dark, would they?

It was raining over here most of the day.. And I finally got my cats and motor mount back in. Not worth it at all

 

I've been waiting for the TRD decals for almost a month and I'm worried the place making them might have flaked out on me. I've emailed them a dozen times and even called and no answer at the business. MF's!! I might have to go with an alternate route. Iven still has one of the hubs on his lathe for almost 2 weeks now waiting for me to get the decal to him, so he can get the proper measurements. Shit Happens!

I'd be glad to light those trails up like no other! I'm almost at 60k lumens

But I have to take the police exam that afternoon. Its BS that I wait for them schedule it for like 6 months, and when they finally do its only available on that Saturday! I would hopefully be done by 5 or so, then would still need to get home to grab some stuff. So leave Kaneohe after 630-7 which would put me at the gate around 745-815. I doubt they would let me in after dark. And even if they did I would only be able to do it if someone could lead me in. You know I would drive off a cliff if I was by myself. A very well lit cliff, but a cliff none the less

I'll see if I can narrow down the timeline more in the coming weeks. Anybody know when the last time to get on a permit is? And if I get on the permit and can't make it, is that going to be a problem for the permit holder? Or should I just get my own permit so if I don't make it its no big deal?

No permits yet. We can't reserve anything until the 10th. I don't think they let anyone in after dark. I think Jesse tried recently. Not real sure.
