It's not for a run, but a part of the mapping project. The trails are all coded as "unscouted" so I'm going out there with the intention of collecting the data they need to update the map.

Guys I got word that the RI spot is getting shut down. Looks like some DB (or DBS ) pulled some crap--dumping or something while the work is going on

Awe that sucks. Last time I was there I filled what little space I had in my bed with empty beer cans and trash. Guess it wasn't enough... We should see if we could organize a trash run! Get it back open...

Trails out in the Alstead/Walpole area are still an icy mess. I'm taking a nap.

I'm in for a cleanup. Some people are so ignorant. Would be good to be able to talk to the guys in charge of the place (DEM) and or other property owners.

Because of some idiots glebe is completely blocked off. Every imaginable embrace had jersey barriers or boulders blocking it. Total bull.

Yeah, it's been like that for a while. Nexterra used to wheel that location and then head over to the Freetown state forest.

Indeed. We usually wander around in there, and head up to the ledge, take pictures (the usual BS) then head back out. In the spring, the back part of the access road gets huge, deep water holes in it.

Anyone possibly interested in heading up to all wheels may 17th? I'd like to do some wheeling and that will likely be one of ,if not the last available weekend for me for a while. I was contemplating taking Friday the 16th off and doing some hiking in the white mountains, potentially the Lafayette-Lincoln loop trail, take the Kanc back to Maine, then camp out at all wheels Friday night, wheel Saturday, and camp again Saturday night. Or something along those lines....
