    Hang in there guys! Like vin said these are going to be worth the wait hands down. It doesn't make sense to push the date of the release and possibly loose out on the quality that SCS truly is.     That's funny. I was just reading the story on SCS. I really want those wheels. Waiting...

    So, let's have a hub centric discussion for a minute. It's been a long time since I got the engineering degree and I crossed over to the dark side (business) years ago, but it seems to me that the hub centric deal is important. The force of the wheel pressing on that hub vs. just the lugs seems like a good idea.

    I'm no engineer but logic rules the day for me and I have to 100% agree with your statement. Which is why until I get my new SCS wheels I will continue to run my Spidertrax Hub-centric spacer that I have had on for roughly 6 years with ZERO issues.

    What wheels are you running now? I keep looking as spacers and wonder about the wear/tear on the wheel bearings/axles. Good to hear you've had zero issues.

    I am running the stock TRD Off Road wheels that I powder coated a couple of years ago with 285/75 and the Spidertrax. I have over 80k miles on my truck and about 50k of them are with the spacers on. Just had my wheel bearings checked and the are in great condition still.

    The thing to keep in mind when you are buying wheels is that if you change the backspacing beyond what the factory wheel has, which you will with the SR8's, the wheel itself is acting similar to a spacer by pushing the center of the wheel outward. This has the potential to shorten your wheel bearing lifespan and other parts depending on an individual's use of their truck.

    But honestly it's part of our lives when modifying our trucks for looks and performance. Anything we change out from stock has the potential for a negative impact to another part of the truck. That is my 02 cents anyways.
