Lol, I see that. You are right, after moab, not before.

 

Yeah I have a dent that I will never pull out.. It's from pulling SMKD13 up a ledge in moab last year. I was running out of room and there was a branch sticking out and I was like well we are committed now.

IDK I like to repaint everything so I can see all the new rock damage..

 

I have damage to my drivers side rocker panel I don't think will ever come out. And I still don't have sliders yet.
I want a set I can use as steps to get in and out for my wife and myself, just haven't found anyone who does filler plates the way I want.

 

How's the weather in May for this trip? I've been trying to plan a trip to Moab with some socal buddies.
Maybe I'll make out to this run to gain some knowledge and experience with you guys then lead my socal friends out there later this year.

 

most likely 80s to 90s duirng the day. can dip into the high 40s at night.
why dont u invite all ur buddies and come to this event! problem solved!

 

Last year it rained a few days before the event started but after that it was 80s-90s

 

that rain was nasty too.... with the wind

 

I remember the pics of everyone huddled under a tarp lol

It also snowed on us going through the mountains after we left Denver.

That's the plan trying to convince them to come out. We've been talking about hitting up White Rim for a couple of days.

 

Actually I remember it was quite nice last year, not too hot. I remember we didn't use our mister that much and normally we go through it constantly haha

Greatest thing EVER for when it's hotter than a mofo in Moab. One year I rode in a 1980 pickup with no heat sheilding/carpet or A/C in the middle of the summer. I think we would have died without that thing.

Send me some monies and I'll bring it.

 

So I have decided that since this is going to be my first time in moab, and I don't have sliders, that I'm not going to take my truck on any trails over a 3 or 4. It's my daily driver, so I can't kill it off road.

 

If you're going to set that limit, definitely put it at the 4. You'll be fine.

 

I have been on trails that are over 4 and couldn't make it, and got damage. So I'm setting a limit for my first time.
