    This is the first tank I'm actually watching with this truck so I'm not sure what to expect, 100 miles out of a 1/4 doesn't seem too bad :D coming from a 4banger 1st gen

    The way Toyota set up our tank readings is a bit misleading. The first 1/4 tank you look down at mileage and immediately think "multiply by 4!"

    Not the case :(

    Before I put new tires on (new tires are AT and 265/75/16, old tires were HT 265/70/16) I would typically see 110-120 at 1/4, ~180 at half, ~260 at 3/4, and 320-350 at just past the light coming on. That was a majority of highway miles.

    Now i'm putting on mostly city miles and i'm getting about 290 at the light coming on. :(

    ^^Exactly....if the design of the tank was perfectly square, then the 1/4 tank reading could be multiplied by 4 to get a pretty close empty tank reading as long as the same or near driving habits were exhibited....
