    A large chunk of them are ones that list their requirements as "High school degree or GED" so I'm passing on those ones. What's the point of getting a college degree then?

    I got a call from a guy today from a lead that might be promising but I need to do more research on it.

    haha well this particular job is about 38k starting and you can bump up to 45k in the first year possibly and then even more after that.

    You have to start somewhere.. a college degree doesnt equal a higher starting salary.. it equals more potential for higher pay down the line. Sure with a certain degree you may start out higher but thats not always the case.. you can be a nuclear reactor operator with a high school dimploma or GED and make $100k+ per year but there isnt really any room to move

    Seeing as I'm making $0 currently and most of my classmates will make $25k average, I think it's pretty good actually. :rolleyes: That doesn't include benefits either and room to advance. And to me the skills I'd gain in management and entrepreneurship from running my own branch is priceless and would help me to run my own business in the future.
