    My sister just got an awesome popcorn maker the other day. She got popcorn salt and oil all in the same packet too. Comes out just like movie theater popcorn every time.

    Is it a whirley pop? I eat waaayyyy to much popcorn :p. I have a huge pot of it probably 5 times a week.

    ACE Hardware is having a sale on them for $20. It's a pot for the stove with a crank handle that turns something inside to keep the popcorn moving while it's being heated. It's a cool inexpensive popper.

    I use my arms as the whirly and just shake the crap of a regular pot with a lid on it over the heat (as in side to side). Helps to weave a kitchen towel through the handles to keep everything secure. Pop pop!

    For sure it does! Only bummer is the pot is pretty much a dedicated popper after. That vegetable oil residue is sticky as hell.

    The packets my sister has use Un flavored coconut oil, not hard to get off.
